Craniosacral is the most subtle of the hands-on therapies with its roots at the gentle end of the osteopathic spectrum. It is unique in its approach as it is completely non-invasive, using a light touch to palpate or 'listen' to the subtle, innermost rhythms of your body. The practitioner's hands will reflect back areas of restriction, encouraging the life force to express its self-healing ability. You are then gently guided to develop an inner awareness of feelings and sensations as they arise and change within your own body, empowering you to become an instrument of your own healing process. This most gentle whole body therapy can raise vitality and well-being and can help almost any condition. As well as adults it is suitable for treating the very young - even babies love it! It is also gentle enough for the fragile elderly and for acutely painful conditions. A first session lasts for 90 minutes and follow-up sessions for up to 45 minutes. A series of 6 sessions is usually recommended to begin with. Sally is a practitioner who has developed a deep sensitivity during her 15 years in the field of bodywork and she is passionate about her work as a Craniosacral Therapy Practitioner where she brings a gentle resonance to her sessions. Sally is a Council member of CSTA the top professional body for craniosacral therapists in the UK. She is also on the teaching team of the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust. Please do not hesitate to contact me by phone or via e-mail to book an appointment or to discuss Craniosacral Therapy further. I would be pleased to hear from you. |
