I am a U.K.C.P accredited psychotherapist. My professional qualification is from the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education, which is a four-year post grad training. I have been running a successful private practice in west London since 1995, and more recently at Violet Hill Studios, were I provide a safe and supportive environment for individual therapy either with adults or with children.

My professional qualification has been supplemented with experience working as a therapist in schools and hospitals, with Foster Care Associations and Social services, along with further specialist courses and training. I also work in tandem with a variety of professional organisations including Personal Effective Centres, the Eating Disorder Association and the Institute For Arts in Therapy and Education.

I work as an Integrative Arts Psychotherapist meaning that I integrate theories from the humanistic (gestalt), Object Relations, self psychology and embrace the use of the Creative Arts, which includes the use of multi-art modalities such as art, movement, role play. This allows a broad exploration of a wide variety of issues including sexual and physical abuse, depression, stress, eating disorders and relationship problems at home and at work.

I also have fifteen years experience as a professional actress. This involvement in creative expression has enhanced my awareness and work as a therapist.
